Literature Text

Your voice is
pounding in my ears.
Knocking my brain up against my skull
as you laugh again, and
again...and once more
again.

You laugh,
mocking me every single time
without knowing it.
How could you?
You are a man,
with as many feelings as a rock.

To prove my point,
I sock you with a snide comment.
Nothing.
I try to trip you with humilliation,
you fall and get up.
As if it never happened.
You feel nothing
physically or emotionally...
I should know
because when I was over flowing with emotion,
your eyes spoke nothingness and I realized then,
I had loved the shell of a human disgused as a
man.
I guess this is about the guy who broke my heart at the begining of eight grade...the last stanza is really what his eyes looked like when we broke up. There was nothing there and looking back I realize that if you can hit someone and they feel nothing that means they have no emotions meaning, they can't love you. And never did. That is all I have to say on the matter.
