Literature Text

You will never find my hiding place.
I can promise you this,
Since no one has found me there yet.

It is small,
But there is so much in there- it's hard to believe
It all fits.
I can run wild while hiding from the
Pain
Anger
Frustration
And you.
Even you who knows me so well can't find me sometimes.

You've gotten close-
My toes were sticking out or I giggled-
Quickly you'd look up and down,
Hoping to see my smiling face.
You couldn't and wouldn't see it then.
It would ruin my hiding place.

You asked once,
"How do you get there?
To that place you hide in when you are running from the
Pain
Anger
Frustration
Reality?"
I told you.
Think.
Just a short little poem. The prompt was "describe your hiding place." Can you tell me what my hiding place is? Can you tell me when I hide there? If you really know me, you've seen me hiding before.

I like the quiet, happy tone of this one. The repeated one-word lines are really effective as well! :D
